A native of Bloomington, Indiana, Conn was living with her family in New Mexico when she landed a small role in a film which was
being shot in numerous locations, including Hong Kong and the Philippines. A great lover of travel, Conn jumped at the opportunity
and has been acting steadily since. In addition to commercials, she has guest starred in episodes of Step By Step; Brotherly Love;
and The Young and the Restless. She also was featured in Too Soon For Jef an NBC after school special.
Conn is excited that Breaker High will be exposing young people to the positive adventures of world travel. As she says, "We all get
caught up in our own little worlds and forget that there are different people and places all over the world. Hopefully, our show will let
kids know what's out there and will motivate them to venture out and discover for themselves." She also looks forward to exploring
the many sides of the character Ashley. "She may seem like a spoiled brat," she says, "but her values come from the only society she
has ever known. Once she is exposed to other kinds of people and ways of thinking, her value system will reflect that exposure, and
I bet that people will begin to love her."
Before joining the cast of Breaker High, Conn was a communications major at the University of California, San Diego. She plans to
continue her studies by attending UCLA's school of theatre.
